I don't want or need to rule the world. I'd rather enjoy the world around me with my family and friends.
That's pretty funny, but it's kind of sad, too. I talk to a lot of people who have paid $10,000, $25,000 or more to get information and access to those "big name" real estate gurus, only to end up with slick packaging and not enough information. I think that's wrong. That's not the way I was brought up and that's not the way I do business.
Yes, I could wear $3,000 suits but I prefer to wear my jeans and tennis shoes.
I could drive a Bentley or Rolls Royce, but my SUV does just fine.
I could be hanging out with the rich crowd at the local country club but I'd rather spend quality time creating memories with my wife, son and daughter who are a lot more fun and interesting!

I could take exotic vacations to private islands and soak up the sun on the beach but I would rather go on a mission trip with my wife to help those less fortunate.

I am living proof that you can be a nice guy and make BIG money in real estate. I didn't start with a lot of money or have a college degree. But I did have common sense, a desire to learn and a pretty stubborn attitude.
